The board of FEDORA is very pleased to invite you to the FEDORA Summer University 2011 in Ioannina, Greece! The general theme of this event is: 'Modern Times: Counselling students in the 21st century'. We think this is an ideal opportunity for us to reflect on our role as student counsellors in this fascinating era! The modern times we live in influence counselling in relation to career guidance, educational guidance, psychological counselling and therapy and in how we think about inclusion/equal opportunity.
The Summer University will provide ample opportunities to share and exchange knowledge and best practices in the above mentioned fields in poster sessions, workshops, presentations and thematic symposia.
Within the context of the Summer University, Fedora members will attend a General Assembly, during which they will be asked to make the final decision regarding the merger process of FEDORA in the European Association for International Education (EAIE) that began in 2010.
We are very grateful for the hospitality and support of the Rectorate of the University of Ioannina and the local organizing team in hosting this Summer University and we are looking forward to seeing you in Greece in June!
